Polaris Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria with the commissioning of EveryDay Supermarket’s new branch in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The supermarket, located at Bay Bridge Junction on the Kpansia-Epie Expressway, was inaugurated on Thursday as part of efforts to expand retail access and stimulate local economic activity in the South-South region.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Raphael Abaziem, Directorate Head, South-South, Polaris Bank, said the launch underscored the bank’s strategic support for SMEs and its role in driving inclusive economic development.
“This commissioning is a testament to resilience, growth, and strategic partnership. Polaris Bank remains committed to supporting entrepreneurs through financing, mentorship, and business development,” Abaziem said.
He noted that the bank’s collaboration with EveryDay Supermarket would create employment opportunities and provide a platform for local producers and suppliers to thrive.
The bank said the initiative aligns with its broader mission to foster sustainable growth and financial inclusion across Nigeria.
