Redux Digital, the new digital company focused on mass audiences across Africa has officially launched its three digital content sites in a bid to disrupt the Nigerian digital eco-system.
The African fashion site TheOtherStyle.com, the West African shareable content site PartyJollof.com and the Nigerian music site Sounds.ng were launched at an event hosted during the just concluded Social Media Week Lagos 2016.
“We kicked off these exciting new products in January with a simple mission – to reflect the Nigerian and then the African cultural experience in an authentic way,” said Kingsley Ezeani who is chief executive officer of Redux. Ezeani is also co-founder of Nigeria’s biggest information portal,InformationNg.com, with over 2 million followers on Facebook.
“Redux products are focused on smart content for mass audiences. Our thesis is simple: it is possible to reflect contemporary African experiences for a savvy audience in the highest quality formats, while reaching mass audiences every day. This is an expression of that confidence.”
Redux’s new digital products are three different, but related, web platforms: Sounds.ng, which thinks through Nigerian music; PartyJollof.com, a guide to the born-bred-and-buttered in West Africa experience; and TheOtherStyle.com, which digs for insights of the fashion cultures across Africa.
These products were officially launched at the third edition of the #YTech100.
It is a networking event which was able to spotlight ingenious ideas as well as provide a conducive environment to drive quality interactions on various economic and social factors that have helped to leverage potentials in both the local and international tech market.
The brands also have social media presence, and can be found on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube via the handles@theotherstyle, @soundsdotng and @partyjollof.

The full service digital agency (broken into two arms for Products and Services) is founded and run by Kingsley Ezeani, who owns NIgeria’s biggest information portal, Information Nigeria with over 2 million followers on Facebook.

The company is founded in partnership with RED, which owns Africa’s largest portfolio of youth media brands, includingYNaija.com, Rubbin’ Minds and The Future Awards Africa.
