Nigerian Firms Join Arbor Advantage, Strengthen Fight against DDoS Attacks

Networks Unlimited, leading value-added distributor, has announced that amidst increasing reports of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, two new Nigerian based companies have joined the Arbor Advantage Partner Program to provide.

Networks Unlimited will distribute the Arbor’s Peakflow, Pravail and Cloud solutions to Business Connexion ICT Services Ltd, one of the largest ICT services providers in Africa, and SMSAM Systems Ltd, a leading provider of advanced enterprise IT security solutions to many of Africa’s largest financial services companies, who together service 16 countries within East and West Africa.

The ease of use of the on-premise Pravail solution enables existing enterprise IT staff to maintain control of the mitigation, and gives them the ability to quickly alert the cloud when attacks reach a certain size that cannot be blocked locally.

In addition, the Peakflow solution integrates network-wide intelligence and anomaly detection with carrier-class threat management to help identify and stop network and application-layer DDoS attacks.
