Jumia Tweets #JIMsBigThing Coming

Jumia Nigeria in a rather suspense filled message on Monday said, “Something BIG is coming!” According to the platform, it is one that is sure to shake the land.

“Something which will drastically increase people’s dissatisfaction with what they currently have. You will crave to get this! In the upcoming weeks, Jumia, Infinix and MTN will be bringing you JIMsBigThing! Information is scarce but one thing guaranteed is that JIMsBigThing will definitely be the talk and toast of town!,” Jumia said.

Jonathan Doerr, MD Jumia Marketing was quoted in a statement made available to Nigeria CommunicationsWeek by Aisha Aburime, PR Associate, Jumia Nigeria, that, “Speculations on social media and in social gatherings have already started gaining momentum as to what exactly JIMsBigThing is”. 

He said that Jumia, Infinix and MTN are still keeping their cards very close to their chest.

“We are very excited about JIMsBigThing as it is not only going to change the landscape but it will also raise the yardstick on a good number of factors in Nigeria. I can say this is one of the rare occasions in life where the word ‘Introducing’ is well and truly worth looking forward to,” Doerr, added.

This begs the question, what is JIMsBigThing??
