Domino’s Pizza Nigeria has disclose plans for its week at FESTAC restaurant; welcoming news customers while leveraging Big Data to reach out to the most loyal patronages.

The Eat N Go Limited franchise in Nigeria with “pizzas” as the unique selling product, offers free delivery but at mapped out locations.

Speaking to the press on the planned Mega Sales Week, Ufuoma Ogeleka, marketing coordinator, Domino’s Pizza, said, they have been able to harness the potentials of Big Data to enhance growth and customers care within the last three years of opening business in Nigeria.

“With Big Data, we have been able to reduce the time a customer spends placing order. For instance, with a click of the button we can tell if someone has visited earlier, the particular time he/ she visited. For instance, if you visit our restaurant on today (Monday) to have a lunch, by next Monday, can call to know if you actually need us to deliver a lunch to you.

“With such system in place, we can observe the kind of products people want more. So, we are leveraging that even during Domino’s Pizza Sales Week. We do that at chosen locations. This week is Apapa, next week we are moving to FESTAC Restaurant located at First Avenue, FESTAC Town”.

Expatiating on the sales week, Ogeleka said, “There is usually a misconception that Domino’s Pizza is an expensive brand. To dispel this wrong assumption, the brand is providing an opportunity to every resident and worker in and around Apapa to have a taste of our quality product and services by having a Mega Sales Week from 9th to the 12th of November, 2015 in FESTAC Town. The sales pitch for this is ‘Buy One Get One Free’”.

According to her, Domino’s Pizza as a brand is committed to being the number one Pizza Restaurant in every neigbhourhood.

“The brand does not just pick a location, set up shop and make sales; we work hard at being a part of the community. We have a knack for hygiene. We operate an innovative system in such a way that no customer who want to order for a lunch is kept on hold; probably, through the telephone. The system is seamless and warmly. You feel at home when you are at Domino’s Pizza. We urge you to take advantages of this opportunity and share a fresh, hot and wholesome meal that can be found at a Domino’s Pizza restaurant with your loved ones,” she added.

The Marketing Coordinator added that Domino’s Pizza Nigeria aims to be the best pizza delivery company in the world; with the culture being best summed up in a chant that’s sung in the stores: “Sell More Pizza, Have More Fun, Team Nigeria Number One!”

“Our priorities are to give Nigerians the best pizza; recruit, recognize and retain the best people; deliver quality, punctuality and innovation at all time; ensure high standards at our stores and take time out to enjoy ourselves,” she explained.

Like most corporate success stories, Domino’s started out small, with just one store in 1960. However, in 1978 the 200th Domino’s store opened, and things really began to cook.

By 1983 there were 1,000 Domino’s stores and 5,000 in 1989. Today, there are nearly 10,000 stores – including more than 5,000 outside the United States. Sure, it took more than 50 years to get here, but the trip was well worth it.

Domino’s Pizza Nigeria is the first in Africa with locations across Lagos, Abuja and Ibadan.
