ATCON Holds Annual General Meeting 2015

Secretariat of ATCON has confirmed that all is set for the hosting of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) slated for Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Ajibola Olude, executive secretary of ATCON has confirmed that the meeting will hold at 10.00am in the prestigious Protea Hotel, Isaac John Street, Ikeja GRA.

According to Olude, the AGM will discuss industry issues that are very germane and topical at this time.

He said that the meeting will review the growth of the industry and examine other issues that would be in the best interest of not only its member-companies but other operators and stakeholders in the industry.

Coming at the verge of swearing in a new government in Nigeria, ATCON feels that the meeting will also provide a platform for the industry to prepare a path for active engagement of the new administration with a view to sustaining the steady development of the telecommunications and ICT industry.

The executive secretary insists that the industry must continue to make input to government policies affecting the industry and to be in good standing to do so, the industry must prepare itself now to engage the new government in industry discourse.

This way, the industry would be able to influence government policies in favour of the industry.
