Fidelity Bank has said a total of 77 customers won millions of naira in its Get Alert in Millions Savings Season 3 promo which ended recently in the country.
It said many others also won consolation prizes of refrigerators, generators and television sets.
A statement said the winners emerged from different geo-political zones of the country, adding that during the last promo, 13 winners emerged while a winner won the grand prize of N10m.
Chijioke Ugochukwu, Fidelity Bank’s executive director Shared Services and Products, said, the bank had been able to make positive impact and added value to the customers.
Mohamed Balarabe, deputy managing director, thanked the customers and winners for participating in the promo.
He said, “When we started, we promised that we were going to make 77 customers millionaires and give out other consolation prizes and we have kept to that promise. We have given out N110m to our customers and 108 consolation prizes to others.”
Balarabe added that organising the promo was part of the bank’s efforts at driving financial inclusion.
He said the bank had been able to empower its customers in different ways and also through the promo.
“Our desire through the GAIM Season 3 promo is to get people to start to cultivate savings habit for the rainy day, so that when the time comes that they need it, they will have the savings,” he said.
He also thanked the banking regulator, the Central Bank of Nigeria, and the lottery commissions for their presence during the promo.
